We've placed accessibility at the heart of this website design and attempted to make the site as accessible as possible to everyone.
Designing for accessibility
This website has been designed specifically to function for as many user groups as possible. In particular, we have focused on:
- Visually impaired users - We've taken every possible step to make the website screen reader-compatible. For example, page titles are descriptive, headings are used throughout each page and skip links have been provided.
- Users with motor impairments - The website is fully keyboard accessible and all links change colour when focused on
- Users with reading difficulties (e.g. dyslexia) - We've attempted to follow best practice web-writing guidelines, with short paragraphs, sub-headings and simple language.
Resizing the text
You can increase text through your browser:
- Internet Explorer: View > Text size
- Firefox: View > Text size
An alternative is to scroll with the wheel of your mouse while holding down the control key.
You can also resize text by holding down CTRL + (to increase text size) and CTRL – (to decrease text size).
