LG Electronics MobileComm USA, Inc. (LG Mobile Phones), a leading worldwide provider of advanced wireless handsets and accessories, will be featuring its unique line of highly advanced mobile phone technologies at CTIA Wireless 2006 held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. LG Mobile Phones will be displaying handset technology in their 2006 lineup that will continue to fuel their growth in North America.
LG is expected to have sold about 64 million mobile phones last year, according to company sources and analysts, compared with an initial 70 million target it set at the beginning of 2006. The company has yet to unveil its 2007 handset sale target officially.

GSM market," said S.R. Kwon, an analyst at Hyundai Securities, highlighting the firm's broadening customer base for third-generation mobile phones which now includes Vodafone (VOD.L: Quote, Profile, Research) and Cingular Wireless.
The Chocolate has many default ringtones built in, but LG also offers to LG
Content Bank software to allow Chocolate owners to add additional free ringtones and images onto the phone. LG's software package also includes the LG Internet Cube, LG PC Sync and LG software to recognize it for Modem use, as well as the driver for phone recognition. Most experienced users will recommend to install all the included software, even if you don't need it. A problem is that the LG Content Bank will show an initialization error if the LG Chocolate is connected in USB mode. To fix this, simply go to Menu-settings-Connectivity-Modem and turn it on. Then keep the phone slide open. Now connect the USB cable and go to the LG Content Bank and transfer the stuff you need.
